Professional Assessor

In March 2014 the voters of Readsboro voted under Title 17 VSA Section 2651 (c) to eliminate to office of Lister and hire a professional Assessor. That position is currently with NEMRC

Delinquent Tax Collector

Each year a warrant is issued by the Town Treasurer along with a list of property owners who have not paid that year’s taxes (property and personal property). It is then up to this office to collect them.
