Full-Time Inter-Departmental Employee
This job posting is for an Interdepartmental employee, full-time with benefits, salary commensurate with experience.
Duties will include (but not be limited to) working as part of the Highway Department and the Utility Department. Past experience is a plus. To be considered, candidates must possess, or obtain within six months of employment, a Vermont Commercial Drivers License (CDL) sufficient to operate town equipment.

At a recent property tax sale in Readsboro on August 7, 2015 the Town of Readsboro was high bidder for seven (7) lots in the Alpenwald Village subdivision. Six (6) of these lots were unimproved lots approximately one (1) acre in size and one (1) lot has a house on the parcel. See list below.
The Town of Readsboro is in search of willing buyers to assign its newly acquired tax liens for these Alpenwald lots. The price for the assignments will include the minimum bids placed by the Town that day with an additional 1%/month interest. There will be a per page fee for recording the assignment in the Readsboro Land Records. There may also be a fee for the preparing of the assignment. Price range for the vacant lots is approximately $2100 and the lot with the house is approximately $7400.
