REFUND POLICY:
Due to the nature of our business, refunds should not be needed.  If you feel you need a refund for a duplicate or overpayment, please contact our office as soon as possible and we will look into the matter.  In most cases of overpayment, any balance would be applied to the next bill.

If the payment in question was made by credit card, the amount of the refund will be credited to the card you used.  If you paid by check or cash, your payment will be returned to you on our next payment day.  Payments by check are made no later than the 3rd Thursday of the month.

RIVERBANK STABILIZATION PROJECT

Final Public Hearing


The Town of Readsboro, Vermont received $348,720.00 from the State of Vermont for a grant under the Vermont Community Development Program. A Public Hearing will be held at the Readsboro Town Office at 301 Phelps Lane, Readsboro, Vermont on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 6:15 p.m. to obtain the views of citizens on community development, to furnish information concerning the range of community development activities that have been undertaken under this program, and to give affected citizens the opportunity to examine a statement of the use of these funds. The VCDP Funds received have been used to accomplish the following activities:  To fortify and stabilize approximately 375 linear feet, and approximately 80 feet in height, of the failed Deerfield River bank adjacent to School Street, and to mitigate future erosion threats.  Information on this project may be obtained from and viewed during the hours of Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., or Wednesdays from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Readsboro Town Office at 301 Phelps Lane, Readsboro, Vermont. TRANSFER STATION FEE NOTICE

Effective July 1, 2016 the price of the 32gal bag will be increased to $2.00 per bag.  All other fees will remain the same at this time but are subject to change. As always any trash brought to the Readsboro transfer station must be generated in Readsboro.
