REFUND POLICY:
Due to the nature of our business, refunds should not be needed.  If you feel you need a refund for a duplicate or overpayment, please contact our office as soon as possible and we will look into the matter.  In most cases of overpayment, any balance would be applied to the next bill.

If the payment in question was made by credit card, the amount of the refund will be credited to the card you used.  If you paid by check or cash, your payment will be returned to you on our next payment day.  Payments by check are made no later than the 3rd Thursday of the month.

DEVLOPMENT REVIEW BOARD
PUBLIC HEARING
A Public Hearing will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at the Readsboro Central School Resource Room on Phelps Avenue, to hear ZONING PERMIT APPLICATION 2017-003, Readsboro Hometown Redevelopment.  This is for construction of a parking lot on RT 100 for people hiking or walking on the Catamount Trail.  This property is located in the Village District, in accordance with Section 2.4.4, Conditional Use and Change of Use of the Readsboro Zoning ByLaws.

If you wish to achieve Interested Person Status in order to speak at the Public Hearing , you must be present at 6:50 p.m. to sign in so that you may be heard.

Written notification has been sent to all owners of all properties adjoining this property by Certified Mail, Return Receipt Requested.  A copy of the application may be seen by calling Priscilla Margola, Clerk of the Development Review Board at 802-423-5630.

                         Commission

                      Notice of vacancy

In accordance with 18 V.S.A. & 5374 the Cemetery Commission herby gives notice of vacancies created by the resignation of one Cemetery Commission member, and one member not seeking re-election.

 

The Cemetery Commission, pursuant to 18 V.S.A. 5374, will make an appointment to fill these vacancies at a Cemetery Commission meeting in the future. The persons appointed to fill these vacancies will serve until the next annual Town Meeting.

Effective July 1, 2016 the price of the 32gal bag will be increased to $2.00 per bag.  All other fees will remain the same at this time but are subject to change. As always any trash brought to the Readsboro transfer station must be generated in Readsboro.
